Hibiscus Rose Margarita

Serves: 1 | Prep Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

● 1 oz hibiscus rose sugar

● 1 oz hot water

● 1 oz fresh squeezed lime juice

● 2 oz tequila (or NA spirit alternative)

● Ice

● Hibiscus salted sugar (for rim), recipe follows

Instructions:

  1. Mix 1 oz hibiscus rose sugar with 1 oz hot water. Steep for at least 2 minutes, stirring to dissolve.

  2. Strain and allow to cool.

  3. Make salted sugar for rim:

    • Mix 1 teaspoon hibiscus rose sugar with 1 teaspoon salt.

    • Rim a margarita or rocks glass with the hibiscus salted sugar.

  4. In a shaker, combine syrup, lime juice, tequila, and ice.

  5. Shake vigorously.

  6. Pour into prepared glass and serve.
