Grapefruit Saffron Fizz

Serves: 1 | Prep Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

● 1 oz saffron calendula sugar

● 1 oz hot water

● 4 oz grapefruit juice

● 1 oz gin (or NA gin)

● 2 oz sparkling wine or soda water

● Ice

Instructions:

  1. Mix 1 oz saffron calendula sugar with 1 oz hot water. Steep for at least 2 minutes, stirring to dissolve.

  2. Strain and allow to cool.

  3. Add saffron syrup, grapefruit juice, and gin to a shaker with ice.

  4. Shake well and strain into a champagne glass.

  5. Top with sparkling wine or soda water.

  6. Serve immediately!
