Inspiration Tasting Kit
Curated for You and Your Team
Exploring innovation in systems, science, and sensations.
Welcome to your personal inspiration tasting kit, curated for you and your team members by A Matter of Taste.
Human sensory experiences spark physical and emotional discovery. Adding surprise, which only occurs when assumptions are challenged, creates a pivoting engagement that can transform our approach to new ideas.
We believe that innovation relies on emotion, connection and intention for inspiration that leads to better outcomes for everyone. Connecting with empathy, respecting relationships, and learning with focus are essential next steps on the way to designing truly innovative and lasting solutions.
Surprise and inspire your creative side with sensations that engage and challenge your assumptions about chocolate, pickles and tea!
How to enjoy your kit:
Ready to enjoy now: Using your tasting card, take a quiet moment alone or with a friend and enjoy the taste of chocolate intercropped with fruits and other plants…can you taste them?
Ready to enjoy in a few minutes: Choose one of your tea samples and brew a pot, enjoying the colors and smells even before you pour some for yourself (and another person) taking the time to let the tea develop and your enjoyment settle in.
Ready tomorrow: Pick a combination of vegetables and fruits (carrots, celery and turnips?, fennel and lemons?) or go classic with cucumbers and use the pickling spice sample. Come back tomorrow for a tasting experience all your own!
What’s in your Kit?
Dark Chocolate from Vietnam
Enjoy Marou’s take on dark chocolate - a terroir conversation that highlights regional agroforestry systems and the flavors of the monsoon climate, a truly relevant systemic experience of artisan cacao from Vietnam.
Quick Pickle Mix
Explore the science of culinary acids with quick pickles. You have either pungent Savory Spice blend with lactic acid or cooling Nordic Spice blend with citric acid. Not just for cucumbers, try citrus, other veg or fruit for a tangy and flavorful treat.
Herbal Tea Originals
Caffeine may get your engines revving, but look to colors and flavors from flowers and tea to inspire new ideas. Try our original blends Warming Sunrise (rooibos and honeybush anchoring a rich burst of citrus and sweet flowers) and Blue Breeze (creamy blue butterfly pea flowers and aromatic lemongrass with peppery chrysanthemum and tulsi).
